Is time really flying this fast?

Still no camera cord :( but still things to tell.

Last friday night, Joshua, Grace, Noah, Mom and Dad Jackson showed up at our front door for the long awaited visit. They got to stay till Tuesday, and man oh man did we have a wonderful time. It was so refreshing to once again have family here. They all lined up on the floor of our modest apartment every night; what a blessing it was to once again kiss josh and grace goodnight. They have all grown so much since July.

We did so many fun things. On Saturday we slept in, had a big breakfast and then mom, me and the kids headed off to Colorado Springs to Whits End (from Adventures in Odyssey/Focus on the Family). It was loads of fun :)

Sunday was very special too. We were so blessed to introduce the family to our church family whom we love so dearly. Dad got to come with us to our Young Marrieds Sunday school before church and immediately hit it off with our awesome leaders, Gary and Ann. We finished the day off by making a full thanksgiving dinner (oh what a help to have mom here to walk me through the process before I do it on my own next week).

Monday we woke up to snow covering everything. We had been waiting for snow all weekend and it never came, so I was thrilled to wake the kids up to snow outside! that day I got to spend a lot of time just hanging out with the kids, doing school together (Grace and Josh homeschool, Noah doing homework, and me doing my online classes), and eating lunch with Stephen at Rocky Vista.

Tuesday, Mom, the kids and I headed off to the King Tut museum downtown denver. That was AWESOME! I didn't think I would enjoy it, but I totally did. Jenn (my wonderful friend and fellow RVU wife) and I often reminisce about all the sunlight (homeschooling curriculum) books we read as youngsters and how much we loved them. A few of these books were about Egypt and they came back to life as we strolled amongst to many middle schoolers, observing the 5,000 year old artifacts.
And then they had to leave, but this time was a little (emphasizing little) easier to send them off, just because in less then 5 weeks we will be back in California.

And in 5 day, 3 wonderful friends and my awesome sister arrive for Thanksgiving. I am SO excited! Just can't wait! (if you can't tell, I LOVE hosting people, so please, our home is open).

Stephen is doing well in school, God continues to be faithful in getting us through each weak, each lecture and each test!
My job keeps me very busy, I have been working full time the last month. I am really enjoying the variety that comes with never being in the same place twice :) I will be starting nursing school again in January. About a week and a half ago I got the final YES on the transfer of my Biola Nursing School credits. Priase God. I was once again blown away by Gods kindness, how he blesses us when we don't deserve and shouldn't expect it at all.

And once again, there are many wonderful pictures on my camera that have no way of getting here onto my blog :(

All my love,
Hannah
